- Coating applied over tiles can only cover the area where it is exposed and does not cover the top and sides laps.
- Peeling often occurs where the coating bridges between the top overlap over a short time period.
- Coat over debris (when not properly cleaned before coating).
- Coating applied over broken tiles that should have been replaced.
The majority of cases of peeling tile coating are due to poor preparation when cleaning and before the coating is applied.
